Hoffman Weber Home Show Welcomes Rowdy Cowboy’s Shayne Michael

by Hoffman Weber Construction, on October 23, 2014

The Hoffman Weber Home Show welcomes its new host, Shayne Michael, on Sunday, Oct. 26. Shayne is best known in the Midwest as the host of the high-energy Rowdy Cowboy Show. But he is no stranger to Hoffman Weber Construction. Shayne helped start Hoffman Weber’s retail sales operation back in 2011 and worked on Hoffman’s National Storm Team until a year ago, where he helped property owners recover after hail and tornado damage in Oklahoma, Louisiana, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

“Shayne knows construction and how to help people have fun, so myTalk 107.1 listeners are in for a double treat,” says Hoffman Weber President Joe Hoffman.

Shayne will partner with Hoffman Weber GM Mike Sample to discuss a broad range of remodeling topics from 11 to noon each Sunday.  You can call in live or email questions to the show anytime.  You also can listen to past shows and find links to informative Hoffman Weber remodeling articles on each week’s featured topic.

“Basically, we are going to provide answers to whatever home remodeling questions our listeners have,” Shayne explained.

Shayne likes remodeling because there is always something new to learn and there’s no such thing as a dumb question.

“I know contractors who have been in the business 40 years and they still are learning about new building products and techniques,” Shayne shared. “So if one homeowner has a question, there probably will be 20 others who appreciate the answer just as much.”

Shayne says he is looking forward spending an hour each Sunday with myTalk’s mostly female audience.

“The truth is women are very involved in most remodeling projects. They want it to look good, but they also care about energy efficiency, low maintenance and durability.  They want to know the new siding will have curb appeal and that the new kitchen will function well.”

From Shayne’s perspective entertainment and information go hand in hand.

“For people to enjoy the show, it needs to be entertaining. Although it’s brought to you free from our sponsor, Owens Corning, it also needs to carry real information value.”

As a country entertainer and construction professional, Shayne’s got this “two step” down.
