Our Windows Installation Process

1. 1 Your New Windows Arrive

   The day that your project begins your windows will arrive. A dumpster will also be dropped off to collect any old windows that are being removed.

2. 2 We Protect Your Property

   We will carefully lay out tarps and build temporary protective structures over fragile plants or flower beds under window openings and move any furniture or window treatments before we begin removing old windows and installing new ones.

3. 3 Your New Windows are Installed

   After sealing the perimeter of the opening to prevent moisture from seeping in, we will then install your THV Compzit Windows, taking care to set the window squarely and make it level. Then we will insert insulation in the gap between the window and the framing to prevent drafts.

4. 4 Trim Pieces are Installed

   We will then finish off the look of your new windows by trimming around the outside of your windows and replacing interior molding.

5. 5 We Clean Up Your Property

   Once all work is completed on your home’s exterior and interior, the final cleanup begins. We do a thorough visual inspection for debris around your home’s exterior, performing magnetic sweeps to pick up stray screws. We also vacuum interior spaces around window openings and move furniture and window treatments back in place.

6. 6 Your Project Manager Does a Final Inspection

   After your project has been completed, your HWC Project Manager will carefully inspect the entire project and ensure all quality expectations have been met.
