Hoffman Weber to Sponsor 2013 Omaha Corporate Cup and Donate $100 from Each New Nebraska Roof

by Hoffman Weber Construction, on July 27, 2013

We’ve seen the devastation that airborne debris and hail from tornadoes and severe thunderstorms can inflict. While less visible, the everyday threats to air quality are just as serious. That’s why Hoffman Weber Construction is proud to be Platinum Sponsor of this year’s Omaha Corporate Cup.

2013 Fight For Air Corporate Cup

The September 15 event is a premier stop on the American Lung Association’s Race For Air campaign. It raises funds to support family health by improving air quality, reducing lung disease and keeping kids tobacco free. America’s Best & Top 10 named the Corporate Cup event one of the top ten 10K races in the country. And more than 11,000 participants already have registered for the 10K, 2-mile family walk or kids’ race.

and Teen Smoking

In addition to helping fund the 33rd annual Omaha event, Hoffman Weber also plans to make contributions in its roofing clients’ names. With its customers’ permission, the company will donate $100 to the Race For Air from every Nebraska roofing contract it signs between August 1 and September 13. “Hoffman Weber Construction is dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve. With 125,000 asthma sufferers and 8,000 kids getting hooked on smoking in Nebraska each year, this is fun way to support an important cause,” said Joe Hoffman, company president.

As Platinum sponsor, Hoffman Weber will be the second most prominent company at the Corporate Cup race. The distinctive black and tan logo will be displayed on runners’ bibs, giveaways, banners, brochures and volunteer T shirts.

“Families and businesses often see the Hoffman Weber name after severe storms or serious fires or when they are in the midst of a major remodeling project. We look forward to being visible at this community event – hopefully with nothing but clear skies overhead,” Hoffman said.
