If you have kids, dogs or just want to support a worthy cause, don’t miss the Hoffman Weber Construction exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair, August 22 - September 2, 2019. Minnesota’s exterior remodeling specialists will again illustrate creative curb appeal ideas through a collection of custom doghouses and playhouses.
Enter a drawing to win one of the whimsical structures or participate in a silent auction via your phone to raise money for Minnetonka-based Reach for Resources. The nonprofit helps people with disabilities and mental illness reach their full potential.
“Our goal is to make the State Fair fun for Minnesota families and to bring the community together to support a worthy organization. But our tiny house village also enables us to showcase different building materials and design ideas that can enhance their full-size homes and multi-family communities,” President Joe Hoffman explained. “If you or your homeowners association are debating between different types of siding, roofing or windows and doors, compare them side by side and ask quiz our exteriors specialists.”
The Hoffman Weber exhibit at the South side of Judson Ave. between Nelson & Underwood streets will feature 6 new doghouse and playhouse designs, including a castle with a bridge. It uses EDCO steel roofing as siding for a medieval look.
To enter the free doghouse/playhouse giveaway, fill out the entry form at the Hoffman Weber booth. Then watch the winner drawn the following week on Facebook Live. The doghouse features an accessible rooftop and a side pool with fountain. The modern child’s playhouse has sliding patio doors on three sides and a wall-mounted fireplace.
